What You’ll Be Doing
As a Customer Care Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in helping camper van renters have an enjoyable vacation experience. Here’s how:
- Master the knowledge: You’ll learn everything there is to know about camper van rentals—from policies and vehicle maintenance to reservations and payment processes (don’t worry, we’ll train you on it!).
- Be a listening ear and a helping hand: You’ll assist renters via email, phone, or chat with inquiries ranging from selecting the right vehicle option to booking changes and guiding them through the reservation and returns.
- Solve problems on the go: You’ll use your technical aptitude to troubleshoot and assist renters with issues they may encounter while on the road or processing payments.
- Collaborate to ensure excellent customer experience: You’ll work with franchise partners, sales, and marketing teams to resolve challenges or provide proactive inputs.
- Stay on top of things: You’ll maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Take your job seriously (and take pride in what you do!): After all, you’ll be part of the holiday experience for thousands of van renters.
Job requirements
What Makes You a Fantastic Fit
- Language skills: You’re fluent in German (C1) and proficient in English (B2 or higher), both written and spoken.
- Empathy & communication: You’re compassionate, a great communicator, and can put yourself in others’ shoes.
- Problem-solving mentality: You thrive on challenges, exploring multiple options to find the best solutions.
- An eye for detail: You are meticulous and detail-oriented.
- Tech-savvy: You’re comfortable using multiple software tools simultaneously, including CRM or ticketing systems. Practical troubleshooting and repair skills are a big plus!
- Customer care experience: Previous experience in customer support, especially in the rental or travel industry, is desirable but not mandatory.
